It's hard to believe that our family Christmas is already over. It seems that we began planning a year ago and now it's over. As I reflect on the 3 days together I always find myself amazed at the sheer volume of the event - the number of children, the number of bodies in general, the number of sippie cups, the shoes and socks, the amount of food, juice boxes and diapers - I could go on and on. I agree with Jenn that it is very much like going to camp. I must say that my favorite parts of our time together is watching the kids play together. I love seeing their personalities emerge as they interact together. It's so awesome to see the beauty of family in action. I also love our late-night adult time together. That time is never long enough but it is always filled with surprising funny moments and interesting conversation. We are an amazing combination!
